" New York Rangers left wing Sean Avery lacerated his spleen in Tuesday night’s playoff game against the Pittsburgh Penguins and has been ruled out for the remainder of the Stanley Cup Playoffs, the team announced at its practice facility in Greenburgh, N.Y. on Wednesday.

Avery was accompanied to a local hospital following the Rangers’ 5-3 loss by Dr. Andrew Feldman, the team’s physician and orthopedic surgeon, where it was detected through a CT scan that he had ruptured his spleen during the game.
"

Must have been a little bit rough out there.

Well, there were a few visible bruisings out there... Scuderi hurt his foot/ankle/leg blocking a shot, and a reliable source tells me that Max Talbot may have hurt his ankle again...

According to the Pittsburgh Tribune Review, Scuderi is playing in game 4.

"I don't see any reason why not. It's up to the coaches, but I told them I feel fine," Scuderi said. "There is a bit of swelling. It's still sore and a bit uncomfortable. I can make all the movements and have my mobility, so I don't see why I can't play."
