The Penguins will open the Stanley Cup final 8 p.m. Saturday against the Red Wings in Joe Louis Arena in Detroit.
Game 2 will be there Monday before the series shifts to Mellon Arena for Games 3 and 4 on May 28 and May 31.
Game 5, if necessary, will be in Detroit June 2, with Game 6 at Mellon Arena June 4 and Game 7 at Joe Louis June 7.
Detroit clinched the Western Conference title -- and a berth opposite the Penguins in the Cup final -- with a 4-1 victory last night in Dallas.
The starting time for all games is listed as 8 p.m.
Versus will televise the first two games and NBC (WPXI) will carry the balance of the series."

Pretty standard finals schedule. I like the NBC telecasts better than the Versus ones.
Oh, and for all Pens fans, SCST received a message from an anonymous user (IP 66.17.186.2) that stated this:
Sorry small town but the WINGS are going to send you home early. I wouldn't worry about pack, your post season is all but over.
What do you say to that, Pens fans?
I say, you'll see soon enough Wings fans that the Pens won't be pushed aside like the rest of their Western foes... Small town or not, the Pens are walking away with the Cup.
May I also remind Wings fans and Pens fans alike, the last time a Pittsburgh team went to Detroit in the playoffs, they walked away with a Championship trophy... History will repeat itself in the coming weeks.

As a PENS Fan... I say that the anonymous Redwings fan has eaten too much raw octopus!!
I also hope that the Redwings are as overconfident as their fans are. Just ask the Flyers... they said the Pens defense is so underrated. I look for a good series.
But I have to know why someone would be anonymous... just register and post a comment up front. We won't bite. You are entitled to your opinion... even if you're wrong.

All I've got to say is Game 5 was freaking unbelievable. What a heart-stopper, stroke-starter or whatever other types of bad health-related terms you can tie to this game.
